He Shucong

Shucong HE was the member of the BEST of BEST Project founded by the Chinese Ministry of Culture.

In 2014, he won Gold Prize at the 3rd CCTV China National Violin Competition in Beijing, In 2013, He won Gold Prize at the Asia International Music Competition, He also won jury prize at the Brahms International Violin Competition and 2nd prize at the 10th China national violin Competition .

Shucong has performed in Berlin, Munich, Prague, Vienna, Vilnius, Klagenfurt, Poznan, Taipei, and most cities in China. He has played as a soloist under conductors such as maestro John Nelson, Long YU, Xiaotang Xia, and Yin Hong, Huan Jing with orchestras such as Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, China Philharmonic Orchestra, Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, Hangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra, Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra, Lanzhou Symphony Orchestra.

He has performed at the Prague Spring Festival, Singapore Violin Festival, Beijing music festival, Beijing chamber music festival, Asia music festival.

As a chamber musician, he was the member of the China Virtuoso Chamber group and the Beijing Soloist Chamber group, he founded the Mockingbird string quartet , Pentagon Piano Quintet and the Voyage Piano Trio which has given concerts in most cities in China. He recorded the theme song of the China’s Lunar Exploration Project and it will be playing in the space.

He now plays on a rare Guarnarius violin generously supported by China Foundation from HongKong.
